The rules, responsibilities and risks that apply when you use Game of Splits.
Effective [Effective date]
Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and [Entity name] ("Game of Splits," "we," "us" or "our"). They cover your use of gameofsplits.fun, docs.gameofsplits.fun, the Game of Splits interface and every related feature and page (the "Site").
By using the Site, connecting a wallet or sending a transaction through the interface, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
About Game of Splits
Game of Splits is a web interface for onchain games on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). It lets you read public game data and prepare transactions that you sign in your own wallet.
Each game follows transparent rules written into its smart contracts. Outcomes come from timing, holding and the choices players make, and anyone can check them onchain.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to [Entity name] at [contact email].
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the age of majority where you live is higher, and able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Site for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind it to these Terms.
The Site is only offered where its use is lawful. By using it, you confirm that
- your use of the Site and the games is lawful where you live and where you are located,
- you are not relying on us for any brokerage, advisory, execution or other regulated service,
- you will follow all laws that apply to you, including laws on prize games, promotions, securities, commodities, anti-money laundering and sanctions.
Restricted Regions
The Site and the games are not available to anyone who lives in, is located in, is incorporated in or has a registered office in any of these places ("Restricted Regions").
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- Russia
- Belarus
- The Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine
- Myanmar (Burma)
- Venezuela
- The United States of America and its territories
- The United Kingdom
- Any member state of the European Union
- The province of Ontario, Canada
- Australia
- Singapore
- Mainland China
- Thailand
- Any other place subject to comprehensive sanctions run by the United Nations, OFAC, the European Union or the United Kingdom
- Any other place where taking part in onchain games with paid entry and prizes is not allowed
By using the Site, you confirm that you are not in a Restricted Region and that you are not named on any sanctions or restricted party list. This includes the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list, the US Commerce Department Denied Persons List, the UN Security Council Consolidated Sanctions List, and matching lists kept by Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union or Switzerland.
Using a VPN or any other tool to hide your location does not change these rules. We may update this list at any time when laws or guidance change, and we may block or limit access where we reasonably believe someone is in a Restricted Region.
Noncustodial interface
Game of Splits is noncustodial. We do not hold your assets or private keys, control your wallet, send transactions for you, guarantee settlement or have any way to reverse a blockchain transaction.
We are not a bank, broker, exchange, custodian, investment adviser, fiduciary, money transmitter or financial institution. Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice.
Every transaction is started and approved in your own wallet. The smart contracts and Robinhood Chain, not Game of Splits, decide whether and how a transaction runs.
Wallets and security
We will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase. We cannot restore a wallet, recover assets, cancel approvals or help with transactions signed from a wallet that has been compromised.
- Keep your wallet, keys, recovery phrase and devices safe.
- Check the network, token addresses, amounts, approvals and fees before you sign.
- Only use wallets and devices you trust.
- You are responsible for everything approved from your wallet, including activity caused by stolen credentials or devices.
Transactions
You are responsible for reviewing each transaction and understanding what it does before you sign. Clocks, timers, Purse sizes, balances, leaderboards and estimates shown on the Site can be delayed, incomplete or different from what happens onchain.
Blockchain transactions are usually final. A transaction can fail, stay pending, land later than expected or be ordered differently from what you intended because of network conditions or contract behaviour. In timing based games this can decide who holds a seat or fires the last arrow.
We do not promise that any transaction will be included or confirmed, or confirmed in time.
The Fair Pass
The Fair Pass opens every game on the Site. You get it by locking 5,000 $wif in the Fair Pass contract, once.
- Locked $wif stays in the contract under the rules written in that contract.
- How and when $wif can be unlocked is set by the contract and shown in the docs.
- A Fair Pass is an access key for the games. It is not an investment, a share in any business or a claim on any revenue.
The games
Each game follows the rules written in its smart contract. The docs at docs.gameofsplits.fun explain them in plain words. If the docs and the contract ever differ, the contract decides.
- Sheriff's Seat. You pay USDG to take the seat. At the end of each day, the longest holders of that day split the Purse 75/20/5.
- Last Arrow. Each arrow costs USDG and adds time to a clock that is capped at one hour. When the clock runs out, the last arrow, the late ten and the player with the most arrows split the Purse.
- Outlaw Camp. You play share or steal rounds against other players or AI outlaws. You can also set a budgeted auto play outlaw that plays rounds for you within the budget you choose.
- Forest Edge. The map and starting point of the Site, where you get your Fair Pass and find each game.
A keeper bot run by us or a service provider calls the contracts to settle rounds. If the keeper is slow, offline or blocked by the network, settlement may be delayed. The keeper cannot change the rules or the result set by the contract.
Payments into a game are final once confirmed. A Purse is paid only as the contract decides. We do not top up, refund or guarantee any Purse.
AI outlaws and the auto play outlaw follow fixed logic. They are not advice and do not promise any result.
Tolls and $wif
Some fees and tolls taken by the games are sent to buy $wif, as written in the contracts. These buys happen onchain under the contract rules.
$wif is issued by its own creators, not by Game of Splits. We do not control its supply, price or liquidity, and tolls sent to buy $wif are not a promise about its value. USDG is issued by a third party and we do not control it either.
Always check token addresses before you sign. The $wif token address is 0x5173b8ea6923c2d40267890d45c46a3480954773 on Robinhood Chain.
Risk disclosures
You are responsible for your own research and decisions. Only use what you can afford to lose. By using the Site, you accept these risks.
- You can lose some or all of what you put into a game or the Fair Pass.
- The smart contracts are unaudited at launch. They may have bugs, weaknesses or behaviour nobody expected.
- The keeper, wallets, RPC providers, explorers and Robinhood Chain itself can fail, slow down or go offline.
- Data shown on the Site can be wrong, late or incomplete.
- Other players, bots and AI outlaws can act in ways that reduce or remove your share of a Purse.
- $wif and USDG can be volatile, lose value or have no liquidity.
- Network upgrades, forks, congestion or reorganisations can affect transactions and assets.
- Taking part may have legal, tax or regulatory effects where you live.
We make no statement about the legal status of $wif, USDG, the Fair Pass or any game in any place. Nothing on the Site is an offer to buy or sell any token, and nothing we or our team say is a prediction or promise of profit, return or rising value.
Fees and taxes
Transactions can include network fees, game costs, tolls and third party charges. What the Site shows may differ from the final amount.
You are responsible for working out, reporting and paying any taxes that come from your use of the Site, including tax on anything you win.
Acceptable use
We may look into suspected misuse and cooperate with lawful requests. We may limit offchain access as a result.
- Do not break the law, sanctions or the rights of others.
- Do not access the Site from a Restricted Region or hide your location to get around these Terms.
- Do not attack, overload or interfere with the Site, the keeper or the infrastructure behind them.
- Do not exploit bugs in the contracts or the Site. Please report them to [contact email] instead.
- Do not collude, run multiple wallets or use bots outside the built in auto play outlaw to manipulate a game or a Purse in a way that harms other players.
- Do not pretend to be Game of Splits or claim to be connected with us.
- Do not use the Site to launder money, fund illegal activity, defraud anyone or hide criminal proceeds.
Material interests
Our team and related parties may hold $wif, hold a Fair Pass or play the games, and may receive tolls or fees as set in the contracts. Nothing in these Terms creates a fiduciary, advisory or similar duty from us to you.
Activity limits
We may set limits on how the interface is used, such as request rates or which features are shown, for security, legal or operational reasons. Limits written in the contracts apply as written.
Third party services and the ecosystem map
The Site connects to independent wallets, Robinhood Chain, smart contracts, RPC providers, explorers, hosting providers and other websites. We do not control their availability, accuracy, security or terms.
The ecosystem map lists third party projects on Robinhood Chain for discovery only. A listing, ranking or link is not an endorsement, recommendation or statement about the safety or value of a project. We have not audited those projects. Your use of them is under their own terms.
Game of Splits is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any of its affiliates.
Intellectual property
The Site's interface, names, art, design, docs and original code are protected by intellectual property laws. You get a limited, revocable, nonexclusive and nontransferable right to use the interface for lawful purposes.
Unless separate open source terms apply, you may not copy, change, sell, sublicense or build products from our materials without our permission.
If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright, email [contact email] with the work, where it appears on the Site, your contact details, a good faith statement that the use is not authorised, a statement that your notice is accurate and that you can act for the owner, and your signature. We will respond as the law requires.
Feedback
If you send ideas or feedback, you let us use them freely without payment. Please do not send confidential information as feedback.
Service availability
We may add, change, pause, limit or close any feature or the whole interface at any time. We do not promise uptime, support for any wallet, or notice before changes.
The contracts live on Robinhood Chain and are not controlled by the Site. You can still interact with them directly, within their rules and your own technical ability, if the interface is unavailable.
No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Site, the interface and the contracts are provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, security and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, [Entity name] and its team, affiliates and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost assets, failed or late transactions, contract bugs, keeper downtime, wallet compromise, network events, price moves or the actions of other players or third parties.
Our total liability for any claim about the Site is limited to the greater of the fees you paid directly to us for the interface in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Some places do not allow these limits. There, they apply only as far as the law allows.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent the law allows, you agree to defend and cover [Entity name] and its team, affiliates and service providers against claims, losses, costs and reasonable legal fees that come from your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms or your breach of the law or anyone else's rights.
You release us from claims about disputes you have with other players or third parties, including disputes about a game, a Purse, a token or a listed project.
Termination
We may suspend, restrict or end your access to the interface at any time, with or without notice, including where we suspect fraud, manipulation, sanctions risk, use from a Restricted Region or a breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, including risks, liability, indemnification and disputes, continue after access ends.
Governing law and disputes
Before starting a formal claim, please email [contact email] with a short description of the problem so we can try to fix it informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute not settled informally within 60 days will be resolved [dispute forum, for example binding individual arbitration under named rules in a named seat, or the courts of a named city].
To the extent the law allows, claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class, collective or representative action. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived by law.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the interface, unless extra terms are shown for a specific feature.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Site, the games, the risks or the law change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. We may announce major changes on the Site, at x.com/gameofsplits or in our Discord.
Using the Site after an update means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site.
